Making Insurance Simple, One Insight at a Time.
Editorial Policy
Insuria Insights publishes plain-language information about insurance in the United States. This page explains how our articles are researched, checked, updated and corrected, so you can decide how much to trust what you read here.
Who Writes and Reviews Our Content
Insuria Insights is an independent, one person publication run by its founder, M. Faisal. Every article is researched, edited, fact checked and approved by M. Faisal before it is published. Insuria Insights operates from Pakistan, and all content is written for a United States audience, reflecting U.S. insurance rules, carrier practices and consumer rights.
We are not an insurance agency, a broker or a law firm. The author is not a licensed insurance agent, attorney or financial adviser. That is why our articles point to the official sources behind their numbers, so you can check them yourself.
How We Choose Sources
We build each article on sources that a reader can open and verify. In order of preference, these are:
State and federal regulators, such as state insurance departments, the Georgia Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire or the Ohio Department of Insurance, and federal agencies.
Industry and consumer organizations, such as the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) and the Insurance Information Institute (III).
Official company pages, filings and published policy documents, used for facts about a specific insurer or product.
Rating agencies and established research publishers, used for financial strength ratings and for cost comparisons.
For health topics, we rely on recognized professional bodies and public health organizations, for example the American Dental Association for dental care.
We do not publish a statistic, price or rating that we cannot trace to a named source.
How We Handle Prices and Numbers
Insurance prices depend on your age, location, driving or health history, coverage limits and the insurer. When we show a dollar figure, we name where it comes from and, where possible, the year it was published. Treat every figure as a general guide, not a quote. The only way to learn your own price is to request quotes from licensed insurers or agents.
Our Use of AI Tools
We use AI based tools to help organize research and draft text. Every article is then edited by a person, checked against the sources it cites, and approved by M. Faisal before publication. We do not publish invented statistics, quotes or sources, and we remove any claim we cannot support.
Keeping Content Up to Date
Insurance rules and prices change. We update an article when we learn that something in it is no longer accurate, and we aim to review our main guides at least once a year. Where an article shows a date, it reflects the last substantive update.
Corrections
If you find an error or outdated information, please email contact@insuriainsights.com with the page address and what you believe is wrong. We read every message, and when a correction is confirmed we fix the article as soon as we can.
Independence and Advertising
Insuria Insights does not sell insurance and does not accept payment from insurers in exchange for coverage, rankings or reviews. Insuria Insights may display advertising in the future. If it does, advertisements will be clearly separate from our articles, and advertisers will have no influence over what we write, recommend or leave out.
Companies named in our articles are named for information only. Unless an article says otherwise, we have no affiliation with them and they have not endorsed or reviewed our content.
Not Professional Advice
Our content is general education. It is not insurance, legal, tax, medical or financial advice. Please speak with a licensed professional in your state before making coverage decisions. You can find your state’s insurance regulator on the NAIC Insurance Departments page
